His Grace, Archbishop Diarmuid Martin hosted an Ecclesiastical Provincial Area Meeting on Thursday, 29th of November 2018, assisted by the National Office for Safeguarding Children.
The purpose of the event was for staff from the National Office to meet with Bishops, Provincials, Superiors, designated liaison people (DLP) and trainers from dioceses, religious congregations and orders across the Dublin ecclesiastical province area, to discuss common issues of interest to further develop best practice in relation to safeguarding children. Topics for discussion included;
