Niall is from Lurgan in County Armagh and after finishing his undergraduate degree in Law he completed his Masters in Criminology whilst working within the office of the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People and has over eight years’ experience facilitating professionals, coordinating teams and working directly with children , young people and vulnerable adults. Alongside his professional work, Niall is currently completing his doctorate at Queens University in Belfast, examining the Holy See as a signatory to children’s rights.
Niall Moore has been appointed Training Manager with the National Office for Safeguarding Children. Niall will be responsible for all aspects of Safeguarding Training within the Catholic Church in Ireland. This will include developing an annual programme of national training , overseeing the delivery of training by Tutors and Trainers, co-ordinating staff and volunteers in delivering training at a local level while ensuring the quality and consistency of delivery of training by trainers, certified as National Board Trainers. At all times Niall will provide support to Tutors and Trainers.
